Iberian pet specialist Tiendanimal has reopened its store at the Vialia Estación de Vigo shopping centre following an expansion that takes the outlet to around 530m², making it the largest pet store in the city's urban core. The opening event was attended by Vigo's deputy mayor for the Environment, Nuria Rodríguez, alongside deputy mayor for Citizen Services Patricia Iglesias, Tiendanimal CEO Alberto Álvarez Ayuso, and Vialia Estación de Vigo centre director Juan Louro.
The enlarged store introduces click & collect lockers, tablet-assisted ordering in-store, insurance processing and promotion of adoption via the company's ‘Adopta con Tiendanimal’ platform, as part of a push for a more convenient and resolutive shopping experience under its ‘Cuidado animal, más fácil que nunca’ (pet care, easier than ever) positioning.
