In February 2026, when the doors to EuroShop open, the international retail world will gather in Düsseldorf for the 22nd time to celebrate a special anniversary. EuroShop will celebrate its 60th anniversary. Since its premiere in 1966, the trade fair has developed into the world's leading retail platform, attracting visitors from around the globe every three years, according to a press release from the organisers.
From 22 to 26 February 2026, the next EuroShop will take place alongside the anniversary celebrations, which will be held under the banner of the ‘Global Retail Festival’. Around 1,900 exhibitors from over 60 countries will present their products and solutions on a net exhibition area of over 100,000 square metres across 14 exhibition halls in Düsseldorf.
EuroShop will showcase the wide range of innovations that will shape the retail sector of tomorrow in seven experience dimensions, with numerous special areas inviting visitors to delve deep into various topics.
The Guided Innovation Tours at EuroShop will feature a broader range of offerings in this anniversary year, with tours focusing on various key topics providing a simple overview of exhibitors in areas such as sustainable materials, store design, retail tech innovation, energy management and optimisation, and food service innovations. For the first time, store tours of interesting shop concepts in Düsseldorf will also take place.
