From 23 to 25 September, Mondi, one of the world's leading providers of sustainable paper and packaging solutions, will present its unique range of packaging solutions at Fachpack 2025 in Nuremberg. These solutions include high-barrier packaging for pet food, food, household and personal care products, as well as fibre-based alternatives for fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and solid and corrugated board solutions for e-commerce and industrial applications.
"The acquisition of Schumacher Packaging's Western European plants will significantly expand our corrugated packaging capacity and expertise," said Markus Gärtner, CEO of Corrugated Packaging at Mondi, in a press release. "By combining the strengths of both companies, we can offer our customers an even wider range of sustainable packaging solutions, coupled with improved delivery reliability and local service."
Mondi combines material expertise with a material-neutral approach, selecting the right material for every application, and has in-depth knowledge of legal requirements such as the EU Packaging Regulation (PPWR). The company also has a good understanding of market trends and is able to respond appropriately and purposefully to external developments, according to its own information.
"At Mondi, innovation starts with collaboration," adds Thomas Ott, CEO of Flexible Packaging. "In our newly opened FlexStudios, customers can actively participate in the innovation process. The FlexStudios also include pilot plants for real-time testing, enabling us to quickly turn ideas into practical packaging solutions for our customers."
