Symrise increases sales and profitability

Symrise AG, a listed supplier of fragrances and flavourings for clients including the pet supplies industry, increased its sales by 20.7 per cent in fiscal 2022 to 4.618 bn euros (2021: 3.826 bn euros). At the same time, Symrise achieved good profitability, according to the company’s financial report. 

Before deduction of a value adjustment of 126 mio euros in the fourth quarter on associated company Swedencare, Symrise’s EBITDA was 922 mio euros (2021: 814 mio euros) and its EBITDA margin was 20 per cent (2021: 21.3 per cent).
