Symrise expands board

Symrise AG, a listed supplier of fragrances and flavourings for customers including the pet products industry, is expanding its executive board. It has appointed manager Dr Stephanie Coßmann to the board to oversee the newly created HR and Legal unit. At the same time, Dr Jörn Andreas is assuming responsibility for the Scent & Care segment, which was previously operated under the temporary stewardship of board chairman Dr Heinz-Jürgen Bertram.

Stephanie Coßmann was most recently board member and operations director at Lanxess. She was responsible there for the Human Resources and Legal and Compliance group functions as well as the Leather business unit.

Jörn Andreas hitherto headed the Cosmetic Ingredients business unit at Symrise. Before that he had responsibility for a number of M&A projects and strategic initiatives in a range of managerial positions.
