The Swiss consumer magazine K-Tipp has confirmed that Fressnapf leads the price competition, at any rate when it comes to cat food. In a comparison of 20 cat food brands it emerged that customers paid the least at Fressnapf. Consumers had to pay considerably more at Qualipet, Spar and Volg, according to K-Tipp. There are 1.35 mio cats in Switzerland, and cat food sales are estimated at around € 192 mio. Fressnapf currently operates 24 stores in Switzerland, the latest opening at the end of May in St. Gallen-Abtwil.
