Agreement reached regarding the “Dupla” brand

Agreement has now been reached in the dispute between Dohse Aquaristik and Red Sea regarding the brands and trademarks of Dupla. Dohse Aquaristik will acquire irrevocably all rights to the “Dupla” brand at the end of the year and for the UK, Italian, Australian, French and Japanese market from the end of March 2004. Production will be moved in the next few months from the Red Sea factory in Israel to Germany. Red Sea plans to bring its own brand for fresh water fish onto the market, which may be advertised with the label “Based on the Dupla philosophy”. Both firms assume that the agreement now reached should be in the interest of the customers.
