Hansepet was founded in April 1997 in the Hanseatic city of Bremen. Ten years later, in 2007, the company moved into a modern production facility in Ganderkesee. This is where high-quality snacks for dogs and cats are still developed and produced today. These include in particular the meat pâté snacks in tubes, which have been offered for decades under the Tubidog and Tubicat brands. A dedicated team is constantly developing new, animal-friendly ideas.

Meat pies are true all-rounders among snacks, because they are not only delicious and healthy, but also extremely versatile. Enjoyed straight from the tube, they are the ideal snack for walks or training. But they are also suitable as a topping to add a special highlight to the daily food of dogs or cats. “The texture of our meat patties is great for filling toys or hiding medication,” comments a company spokeswoman. Even fussy cats are won over by the taste and cannot resist the snack from the tube.

During production, attention is paid to the highest quality of ingredients and regionality. Only fresh, food-grade meat from regional suppliers is used, ensuring a sustainable and environmentally friendly supply chain. In addition to meat pies, a wide range of training and chew treats for dogs is offered that contain chicken, duck and fish, as well as natural cat treats with lots of tasty meat.

Hansepet creates private-label brands for many well-known customers at home and abroad. The products can be found in almost all distribution channels. The medium-sized, founder-managed structure of the company enables a high degree of flexibility, short decision-making processes and rapid implementation of private labels. “Our comprehensive service includes the entire process from the initial idea to recipe or product selection to market launch,” says the Hansepet spokesperson.
