With 4 424 visitors and 128 exhibitors, the Anido in Kortrijk celebrated a brilliant comeback. It once again impressively proved its claim to be the most important event for the pet industry in Belgium and northern France.

Anido
Pawr from the Netherlands celebrated its debut at Anido with a purely plant-based line of dog food. Animal proteins are completely dispensed with in the dry food, as are insect proteins. Company founder Fia Luijerink sees a lot of potential in her concept and can already look forward to listings in Holland, Denmark and even South Korea.
Anido
Suziria from Ukraine was there for the first time. Among other things, it presented a brand new line of premium dry food for dogs and cats. Containing exclusively fresh meat and superfood components, the Savory line is aimed primarily at modern and younger pet owners, as marketing manager Yulia Voroshylova (centre) explained.
Anido
Gosbi from Spain is the number 1 in the independent pet trade and among veterinarians in its home country. The company now wants to significantly expand its export share of currently around 30 per cent. The current export focus is on customers in France and Israel.
Anido
Edgard & Cooper appeared with a particularly modern stand design. Its products were so well received by the trade fair audience that they presented the company with an Anido Award in the pet food category.
Anido
Wholesale companies are traditionally strongly represented at Anido. Trudo’s Pet Products from Sint-Truiden (Belgium) specialised in dog and cat food at an early stage and it focuses particularly on the products of Czech manufacturer Vafo.
Anido, Beeztees
Beeztees received the Anido Award in the accessories category. The awards were presented and moderated in the usual entertaining style and in several languages by Erik Lambrecht (far left).
Anido
The “Meet the Experts” area offered a programme of expert talks and presentations on both days. Pictured here is Kristof Berx, who presented the concept of his 2 000 m² Zowizoo store in Kontich.
Anido, Fair director Annick Pycarelle
Fair director Annick Pycarelle was present to open the evening programme of the first day of the fair.
Anido, Laroy Group
One of the largest stands was occupied by the wholesale company Laroy Group from Ghent (Belgium). Here the beds and pillows of the D&D brand in particular attracted a lot of attention.
