Global Pet Expo 2027 opens registration

Registration for Global Pet Expo 2027 is now open for exhibitors and attendees. The trade show runs from 17 to 19 March 2027 in Orlando, Florida, at the Orange County Convention Center. Presented by the American Pet Products Association (APPA) and the Pet Industry Distributors Association (PIDA), it bills itself as the largest pet trade show in the US, with more than 1,000 exhibiting companies expected. Registration is free for qualified buyers.

To gauge the scale: the 2026 edition drew more than 22,000 attendees from more than 105 countries. The show featured over 1,100 exhibitors across more than 3,100 booths.

A centrepiece is the New Products Showcase and its annual ‘Best in Show’ Awards, voted on by buyers, media and influencers. At the 16th edition in 2026, 39 new products were recognised, with entries spread across 13 categories. The programme is rounded out by the Global Learning Series education sessions and networking events.

Alongside Global Pet Expo, the APPA is again staging The Pet Summit, its premium educational conference. The 2027 edition is set to begin on 15 March, running in the days around the trade show until 18 March at the Orange County Convention Center.

The Pet Summit offers high-value education and networking geared to pet business growth, organised across six educational tracks, with keynotes and panel discussions on topics such as new industry data, sustainability and go-to-market strategy, rounded off by an after-hours networking reception. Part of APPA since 2023, the event has evolved from an originally digital format for pet content creators and influencers into a multi-track, in-person conference addressing all sectors of the industry.
