A new report from ADM, ‘Mapping Pet Longevity: Where Global Demand Meets Local Reality,’ draws on proprietary consumer research across China, France, Mexico, the UK and the US. The core finding: while pet owners everywhere want long, healthy lives for their companions, cultural norms strongly shape how — and whether — that interest converts into purchases.

Globally, 71% of pet owners actively seek out products to support their pet's longevity, and price and brand reputation take a back seat to pet enjoyment (89%) and ingredient quality (88%). Exercise remains the cornerstone of pet wellness, with 74% ensuring regular activity, while 48% feed a specialised diet several times a week and 38% give supplements.
