Maxi Zoo France has once again clearly articulated its goal: ‘We want to be ever closer to pet owners throughout France. This year, too, more than 60 new branches will be opened, with an ambitious target: by 2029, we aim to reach 700 branches,’ explains CEO Vincent Doumerc on LinkedIn.

This growth is to be underpinned by the further development of the store concepts. Having established a presence in industrial estates and rural regions, the specialist retailers now aim to open a new chapter by developing local convenience stores in city centres. The openings in Paris-Voltaire and Lyon-Confluence are the first examples of this – and numerous other projects are already in the pipeline and set to follow shortly.
