United Petfood, a Belgium-based international pet food manufacturer, announced in early April it has purchased the Jupiter production facility in Drummondville, Quebec from Legault Group. This purchase represents a landmark moment for United Petfood as it marks the company’s first dry manufacturing plant in Canada. This strategic move to establish local production in Canada, not geographically far from the dry production site in the U.S., signifies a pivotal step in solidifying its presence in this key market.
