Zealandia Pet Food, a pet nutrition brand and member of the Pet Sustainability Coalition, has announced its launch in the United States, introducing a range of proteins sourced from licensed New Zealand wildlife and agricultural management programs that support both pet health and environmental restoration. The U.S. product line features proteins sourced entirely from New Zealand, including wild brushtail possum, wallaby, and goat. These species are widely recognized in New Zealand for their impact on native flora, fauna, and marine ecosystems.
According to a media statement, Zealandia helps support population management efforts while reducing reliance on conventional livestock farming by incorporating these proteins into high-quality pet food. All Zealandia products are made in New Zealand under strict quality and food safety standards. The recipes are formulated to deliver complete and balanced nutrition for cats and dogs, using clean animal proteins and minimal processing. Also available are the proteins beef, chicken, duck, hoki fish, king salmon, lamb, and venison. Zealandia’s products are now available to U.S. retailers through the distributor John A. Van Den Bosch in the Midwest, and to consumers on Chewy.com.
