Aquarium and pond specialist Eheim was honoured as Brand of the Year in the Pet category at the World Branding Awards for the fifth time, after 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2023. The grand ceremony took place at the beginning of July in the Throne Room of the Vienna Hofburg.
The World Branding Awards are presented by the World Branding Forum (WBF), a registered, global, non-profit organisation based in London. The activities of the WBF aim to improve brand standards internationally for the benefit of the industry and consumers.
Brands from many different countries were honoured in the Animalis category, which focuses on pet and animal brands like manufacturers of pet food, pet supplies, pet shops and non-profit animal welfare organisations. The winners are evaluated based on three criteria: brand evaluation, public online voting and consumer market research. For a chance to win, brands must therefore retain a strong customer loyalty.
“The award shows that we impress with tradition and innovation. At the same time, we see this as an obligation to continue to be creative and innovative in the future,” commented Ibrahim Mefire Kouotou, managing director of Eheim, on the award.
