The Men in Blazers Media Network, the largest media company in North America focused on football, announced in a company statement that Nestlé Purina, a global pet care product provider, will become its first official pet food and treats partner.
The partnership will launch with a series of initiatives designed to celebrate the bond between pets and football. Purina will present a series of social and digital content telling emotional stories about the pets of some of the biggest names in football. The pet-focused series, hosted by Sam Mewis, will consist of five episodes on the Men in Blazers and The Women's Game platforms. Purina will also sponsor a year-long fan campaign called Pet FC, encouraging fans to share their sports-related pet stories on social media.
A highlight of the partnership will be St.-Louis-Live, a pet-friendly event in Purina's hometown. This will feature pet-friendly areas, a special photo booth, and the distribution of exclusive pet merchandise.
This partnership is another step for Purina in strengthening its presence in football, including in the run-up to the 2026 World Cup. Purina is the first founding partner and official jersey sponsor of St.-Louis-City-SC, which is competing in its third season in major league soccer.
