Since September, the educational project run by Spanish pet retailer Tiendanimal in collaboration with Royal Canin has provided free animal welfare workshops to more than 1 800 children in schools across Spain. In the first two months, the project has already surpassed last year's best results: After reaching more than 1 200 students in the 2023/2024 school year, Tiendanimal Educa 2.0 has started with a record number of participants.
Tiendanimal and Royal Canin want to further strengthen their commitment to education: The Tiendanimal Educa 2.0 offer will be implemented in more schools and regions in 2025. „Our goal is to break participation records and raise awareness of respect for animals among new generations," says Caroline Arrú, co-sponsor of the ESG Committee and Chief Marketing and Customer Officer at Tiendanimal.
