The UK manufacturer Supreme Petfoods is considered a leading company in small animal food. Now it is venturing into the realm of dog treats with the introduction of a range with the name Dolly Dog. “This strategic step is an important milestone for Supreme,” states Claire Hamblion, marketing director at Supreme Petfoods.

Supreme Petfoods has found that 53 per cent of small animal owners also have a dog. The company sees a major opportunity here to secure the loyalty of these owners of a number of different pets with a brand that they already know and trust.

Supreme has been careful to point out that all the new dog treats containing meat are produced in a different facility than the one for small animal food. It can thus be ensured that food for rabbits and other small herbivores remains meat-free.
