Fressnapf Austria has moved into a new and modern headquarters on almost 1 000 m² in Salzburg. "With the new headquarters, we are meeting the needs of our employees and also our pet colleagues," the company says.

With the new headquarters, Fressnapf Austria is also pursuing a new work approach. The focus is no longer only on productivity, but also on personal development. "The working environment shapes how we feel, think and act. We have set ourselves the goal of combining the functional requirements of an office with an innovative and atmospheric design," explains Hermann Aigner, managing director of Fressnapf Austria.

The new headquarters offers 45 workplaces and over 100 seats, based on the desk-sharing model. This provides for employees to freely choose their workplace every day. This is intended to promote the flow of information and interdepartmental exchange between colleagues and teams. For this purpose, the employees benefit from a personal tablet PC, a WLAN network and a cloud-based telephone system which, in combination with a personal mobile phone, replaces the classic landline telephone. This gives them complete flexibility in terms of working hours and location.

Dogs are also welcome in the office. There is one office dog for every five employees. "We don't want our employees to have to make either-or decisions between home or flex office, office or doggy day care, but rather we offer a coherent overall concept with our new headquarters," Hermann Aigner summarises.
