Das Futterhaus continues to expand

The opening of a store in Berlin-Waidmannslust on 14 December brings the expansion of German corporate group Das Futterhaus to an end for this year. In the last twelve months, 21 new stores have opened, including one in Austria, according to the company. In addition, 14 existing stores were modernised. With one exception, all the new stores opened this year are run by franchise partners.

The new stores are distributed across eight German federal states, Bavaria (3), Berlin-Brandenburg (4), Hesse (2), Mecklenburg-West Pomerania (2), Lower Saxony (4), Saxony-Anhalt (2), Schleswig-Holstein (1) and Thuringia (2) as well as at Rosental in Styria, Austria (1). For next year, Das Futterhaus is looking to open another 20 or so stores.
