Nestlé Purina Petcare grows by 14 per cent

Nestlé Purina Petcare has reported sales of 13.2 bn Swiss francs (13.3 bn euros) for the first nine months of the current year. In the same period last year, sales totalled 11.36 mio Swiss francs (11.49 bn euros), meaning that sales have grown by around 14 per cent. Sales of pet food and treats increased in all international business units of Nestle Purina Petcare.

In North America, pet products accounted for the biggest share of Nestlé’s overall sales, especially in e-commerce and in pet stores. In Europe, sales growth was driven by the premium brands Gourmet, Purina One and Purina Pro Plan. In Asia, Oceania and Africa, Nestlé Purina achieved high single-digit growth, chiefly with Purina One, Felix and Purina Pro Plan.
