VNU Exhibitions experienced a long phase of uncertainty at the start of this year due to the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic. For the second half of the year, however, the fair organiser expects an extremely positive trend. Pet Fair South East Asia, the event organised by VNU for 26-28 October in Bangkok, accounts for a substantial share of this optimism.
“The last few weeks and the first shows staged have demonstrated to us once again that personal contact is irreplaceable. Companies and their representatives are also waiting to present their innovations and meet up again, exchange knowledge, establish networks and seek out new opportunities,” says Igor Palka, CEO of VNU Asia Pacific. He says that the recently organised Agritechnica Asia attracted 8 326 trade participants from 59 countries.
