The American speciality retailer Hollywood Feed has announced the acquisition of pet store chain Pet People.
The takeover will increase the number of stores operated by Hollywood Feed from 104 to 180, taking it into five new federal states: Pennsylvania, Michigan, Illinois, Missouri and Kansas. Following the acquisition, the total number of employees will rise to 1 225.
