Josef Ravnak steps down from management role

As announced yesterday, Josef Ravnak, founder and managing director of the Sera aquatics company, stepped down from managing the company on 1 February to join the advisory board.
Ravnak's successor is his daughter, Michaela Ravnak-Bürschgens. She is joined in the management team by Holger Fiebiger, who was appointed director in January 2021. They will be supported by Simon Gierlings (marketing and sales) and Christof Reiners (finance and administration).
Josef Ravnak established Sera in 1970 with his wife Anny. The two-person outfit developed under their stewardship into one of the leading manufacturers of food, care and technical products for aquariums, terrariums and garden ponds.
