The Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC) announced the appointment of Michael Seitz, CEO and Chairman of EarthWise Pet, and Caitlyn Dudas, co-founder of PSC and consultant at Good Company, as members of its Board of Directors. In addition, Dustin Dover, COO of Renew Biomass, was elected Chairman of the Board for 2026.
The PSC also announced the appointment of new executives: Joanne Dwyer (PetSmart) as Vice Chair, Rebecca Rose (InClover) as Treasurer, Adam Kay (Tyler Packaging) as Secretary, and Stephanie Volo (Earth Animal) as Chair Emeritus. This leadership team strengthens PSC's ability to drive sustainability in the pet industry through collaboration, education, and innovation.
As PSC continues to expand its programs, partnerships, and global influence, these appointments reflect a deliberate move to strengthen corporate governance, deepen industry expertise, and position the organization for long-term impact. ‘Our board plays a critical role in guiding PSC's strategy and amplifying our impact,’ said Jim Lamancusa, CEO and Executive Director of PSC.
As COO of Renew Biomass, Dustin Dover brings more than 15 years of experience building and scaling mission-driven companies, having served on the PSC board for the past five years. He founded Renew Biomass from the ground up and grew it into a vertically integrated B2B manufacturer of ingredients for national food and pet food brands.
Michael Seitz has extensive experience in the pet industry and is committed to building brands that have a positive impact on pets, people, and communities. As CEO and Chairman of EarthWise Pet, he led the company's transformation from a small regional chain to a national franchise with more than 200 locations.
Caitlyn Dudas is a sustainability-focused executive with more than a decade of experience helping companies balance environmental and social responsibility with commercial success. As a co-founder of PSC, she helped grow the coalition from eight founding companies to a community of more than 200 members. Her responsibilities included pioneering initiatives such as Flex Forward, the pet industry's first program to take back plastics from retail.
These leadership appointments are an important milestone as PSC continues to expand its influence and accelerate progress toward its vision of a sustainable future where every pet-related decision supports a thriving planet.
