Sales growth in all 30 countries

On the basis of provisional figures, Zooplus AG has reported sales revenues amounting to 643 mio euros for the first six months of 2018. This is equal to growth of 24 per cent compared with the same period last year (517 mio euros). Adjusted for exchange rate effects, the growth in sales is 25 per cent.
In the second quarter, sales revenues increased by 23 per cent compared with the previous year and by 24 per cent adjusted for exchange rate effects to 320 mio euros (same period in the previous year: 260 mio euros). In absolute figures the increase is thus 60 mio euros compared with the same quarter in the previous year, when the increase amounted to 39 mio euros. The growth rates for the first six months of the current year are once again in double digits for all 30 country markets.
The sales growth in the first half of the year is underpinned by a high level of customer loyalty. The sales-related repurchase rate is put at 94 per cent. A 16 per cent increase was also recorded in the number of new customers registering in the first half of 2018.
