New country manager at Fressnapf Austria

Heidi Obermeier, country manager of Fressnapf Austria, has decided to step down from the helm of Fressnapf Handels GmbH for health reasons. She built up the Austrian business and made Fressnapf the undisputed market leader in Austria with over 100 stores. Heidi Obermeier will continue in her present position until the end of the year, and will then continue to work within the Fressnapf Group, taking on various projects in the head office or in the subsidiaries. Her successor as country manager of Fressnapf Austria will be Norbert Marschallinger. He has been with Fressnapf for six years and is currently the managing director of Megazoo Austria.
