Arjan Coenen leaves Ruinemans for Vitakraft Benelux

Arjan Coenen takes up the post of field sales manager at Vitakraft Benelux on 1 September. He announced the move on LinkedIn, leaving the ornamental fish and pet supplies wholesaler Ruinemans Group in Montfoort after two years as sales manager.

Coenen has spent his working life in the Dutch pet trade, starting in retail with the Dobey franchise in 1998. He was a sales representative and later regional manager at Van Riel Distripet in Waalwijk from 2008 to 2014, then regional manager at Beeztees until 2017. He joined the German accessories supplier Petlando as key account manager in 2017, took over its Benelux business and was international sales manager there until 2022. From 2022 until moving to Ruinemans in 2024 he was field sales manager for the Netherlands at Laroy Group. Alongside his employment he has run his own reptile business, Next Gen Reptiles, since 2023.

Vitakraft Benelux is the Dutch subsidiary of the Bremen-based Vitakraft group and is based in Arnhem.
