IQI appoints Patricia Van Nielandt sales manager for Benelux

IQI Trusted Petfood Ingredients has appointed Patricia Van Nielandt as sales manager for Benelux. She joined the Amersfoort-based pet food ingredients supplier on 16 September and looks after customers in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg as part of the company's European sales team.

Van Nielandt, a veterinarian by background, has more than ten years' experience in pet food and animal health. Most recently, she was Product Manager and Team Leader Petfood at Virbac, where, according to IQI, she launched the first medicated pet food for cats. In her previous roles, she managed product portfolios for both companion and large animals and led marketing activities. Her work as a vet had shown her how strongly the right nutrition affects an animal's health and quality of life, she said.

IQI, part of OSI Group, supplies premium and functional ingredients to the pet food industry and has been in business for more than 30 years. Through the group, the company says it has access to more than 50 production sites worldwide, sources from over 20 countries and distributes to more than 60 markets.
