North American Pet Products acquires the Cat Care Company

North American Pet Products has acquired the Cat Care Company, formerly known as Riteway Products of Laguna Niguel (CA). According to a press release on the company’s website, the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. “The Cat Care Company deal is part of a proactive growth strategy in which we’re seeking targeted acquisitions to increase market share and enhance our ability to provide value and quality to customers,” explained Jeremy Moser, director of marketing. The company plans to operate the 37-year-old brand from its Corona (CA) headquarters.
