New buying organisation in the Netherlands

Agri Retail and the IJsvogel Group have set up a joint purchasing organisation called Buying4Pets. It is expected to commence operation in early 2010 and handle buying and distribution of pet products for the Boerenbond/Welkoop retail systems and Pet’s Place as well as the VNK wholesale company. The new Buying4Pets organisation will be based at the Agri Retail premises. The aim of Agri Retail and the IJsvogel Group in establishing the joint buying organisation is to extend their leading position in the Dutch pet supplies market.
