Planning under way for Aquaria China

30.06.2005
Over 3 000 industry delegates from 36 countries visited the show in 2004

Aquaria China will take place at Guangzhou Jinhan Exhibition Centre from 7-10 September 2006. The organisers are confident that the 2006 staging will benefit from the lessons that were learned in the lead-up to the 2004 event.
A second advantage this time round is that a very solid foundation already exists in the form of the encouraging space, exhibitor and visitor statistics relating to AC'04. The floor space taken up by the exhibition and fish competition amounted to 9 000 m². Nearly 80 exhibitors (55 per cent from overseas) displayed products, livestock, plants and services.
Over 3 000 industry delegates from 36 countries visited the show during the two trade-only days. And nearly 13 000 general public visitors attended during the two open days. Among the new attractions being planned for Aquaria China 2006 is the launch of an InterGarden sub-event. This section, dedicated exclusively to the pond and water garden sector, will include – in addition to specialised exhibitors – a large water garden display designed by some of the top names in outdoor aquatics. www.aquariachina.com.
