New merger in UK

The brush and comb manufacturer The House of Hindes is to merge with Shaws Pet Products Ltd. The merger will come as no real surprise within the UK pet trade as Elaine Kemp, managing director of The House of Hindes, is married to Peter Kemp, managing director of Shaws. According to both companies the merger is a logical step for the two firms, as their products are not only non-competitive but are entirely complementary.
