Textile innovation

Back on Track is dedicated to the well-being of people, horses and dogs through textiles with Welltex technology and now has a new dog coat collection in three fit families.

Back on Track is a Swedish company dedicated to the well-being, health and recovery of people, horses, and dogs. Founded by Dr Erland Beselin in the year 2000, it has since developed a range of textile products that reflect body heat in the form of far infrared energy (FIR). The physiological effect is aimed at softening stiff muscles and joints, thereby reducing discomfort, increasing mobility, and facilitating an active life. Today, Back on Track has a long history of outfitting dogs of all kinds, belonging to both private owners and public authorities.

Back on Track’s textiles contain minerals, present inside every thread of the ‘active’ fabric. These minerals will absorb and emit FIR (far infrared) – a form of energy that radiates naturally from all living things. When FIR is sent back, it penetrates the tissues and exerts a notable effect, by stimulating blood flow and promoting circulation.

Increased blood flow supports the body’s own healing processes and helps to effectively oxygenate and nourish fatigued or aching muscles. This phenomenon is the principle behind the ‘Back on Track effect’, most often associated with Welltex, the company’s first and most well-known textile technology.

The new collection from Back on Track comprises a range of innovative dog coats; both multifunctional and versatile, as well as dog coats perfectly adapted for specific situations, requirements or body types. To make it as easy as possible to quickly find the right dog coat, they are from now on divided into three families, based on fit. Hence: ‘A family for every dog.’

‘Bay’ is neatly shaped to be close-fitting, but with an accommodating design that allows for a variety of body types as well as for freedom of movement.

‘Buddy’ is especially developed for dogs with the characteristic body type of Dachshunds: short legs – long back.

‘Bark’ fits best on a slimmer, athletic type of dog, typically an average-built working dog.

Each garment incorporates a FIR-technology, such as Welltex, within the inner lining to ensure direct contact with the dog.n
