At this year’s Interzoo, Panto Heimtier will present its expanding portfolio of innovative nutrition solutions for the international pet and specialty feed market. 

With a strong focus on high-quality ingredients and functional nutrition, the brand continues to strengthen its presence in the European and global B2B pet food sector.

Under the guiding motto ’Creating moments with petfood’, Panto Heimtier develops products designed to strengthen the relationship between humans and animals. The brand combines nutritional expertise with innovative product ideas that support animal well-being while offering attractive concepts for retailers and distributors.

At Interzoo, Panto Heimtier will showcase solutions from three core product segments: wild bird feed, home farming nutrition and pet food. The wild bird range includes balanced feed mixes and energy-rich products for year-round feeding. In the home farming segment, Panto Heimtier offers tailored nutrition solutions for animals such as poultry, horses and sheep. At the same time, the company is further developing its pet food portfolio by adding functional ingredients and fresh, forward‑thinking product concepts that meet the needs of today’s companion animals.

From natural ingredients to next generation concepts

A key element within the Panto Heimtier portfolio is Wisan flax, a specially processed linseed product developed and produced by Panto in Hamburg. It is made from a mixture of carefully processed raw materials with a high share of linseed, using a proprietary manufacturing method. During this process, the outer shell of the linseed is gently opened, improving the digestibility and the availability of essential nutrients for the animal – a true game changer.

Wisan flax is used both as a standalone product and as a functional ingredient in selected horse feed mixtures as well as rabbit and rodent feed. At Interzoo the product will also be presented in a new 5 kg bucket format for convenient handling in retail.

In addition, Panto Heimtier is currently developing new dog treats based on flaxseed, extending the functional benefits of linseed to the companion animal sector.
