The market for garden and swimming ponds and for aquaculture was and still is a fiercely contested segment. One company that succeeds in setting itself apart from the competition is the Bavarian firm Fiap GmbH of Ursensollen. It was established in 1976 and has remained a family-owned firm, currently run by two managing partners of the second generation of the family. Fiap started out 37 years ago in fish breeding and pond management. Renewal is a prerequisite of development, however, and so the company has also updated its website. It now presents a new image that is above all modern, informative and customer-oriented.
