Who is the PET Personality of the Year for 2010? The answer to this question will be revealed on the evening of 9 November when the award is presented at this year's International Pet Conference in the Hotel Sofitel Hamburg Alter Wall. The award winner will be chosen primarily by the readers of the trade magazines pet and PET worldwide, who can submit their suggestions for a worthy recipient to the editorial team. An expert jury will then decide on the final award winner. The following criteria will be considered when selecting the PET Personality award winner: Who has succeeded in advancing the sector effectively this year with their ideas? Who has created a stir with their innovation and personal commitment to communicating these ideas? Who was bold enough to "think outside the box" for once and take their products in a completely different direction? We want to know your opinion. Organised as in previous years by the trade magazine PET worldwide in collaboration with the conference organiser Management Forum, part of the Verlagsgruppe Handelsblatt, the International Pet Conference offers a host of other highlights:
Taking the deliberately provocative slogan "Be different or die" as their theme, top speakers from the international pet business will outline what qualities are vital for success in trade and industry.
The International Pet Conference has always attracted around 200 delegates from various countries and represents a superb opportunity for networking. Make direct contact with the leading lights in the sector!
The Pet World conference exhibition offers companies from the pet supplies sector and related fields the ideal platform for presenting themselves to a select, high-calibre audience.
Speakers already booked to appear at the conference include Torsten Toeller, CEO of Europe's leading pet store chain Fressnapf, Paul van der Raad, COO of the successful Danish company Vital Petfood Group, and Dr Oliver Koll, managing partner of the renowned Institut für Marketing. As in previous years, the lectures will be given in English and the event will be hosted by Ralf Majer-Abele, managing editor of the magazines pet and PET worldwide.
