Beaphar’s founder, Bernard AA, launched his company in 1943 to market homeopathic remedies for dogs. Led by his son Henk AA, Beaphar now employs around 400 people all over the world, is present in 60 countries and markets around 2,200 products in all worldwide. However, the range differs substantially in the various countries Beaphar supplies due to the different requirements of the individual markets. The company operates wholly owned subsidiaries in Great Britain and Germany, two of its main markets in addition to the Netherlands. The company also has outlets in many other nations and has expanded considerably in Eastern Europe in recent years, establishing branches in Poland and the Czech Republic. Beaphar now services 13 Eastern European countries from the Czech Republic.

Sri Lanka and Vietnam may shortly be added to this list.

Six years ago it moved to an attractive and environmentally appealing building which previously housed the regional water protection authority. Here Beaphar has a 2 700 m² site integrated into a picturesque parkland at its disposal.
To be able to react optimally to changes in the market, Beaphar has invested heavily in modern machinery and bigger premises over the years. Five years ago, it constructed a modern logistics centre not far from the headquarters. With space to store 5 000 pallets, this acts as a distribution centre for the Dutch branch and the company’s international branches. Some parts of this very neat and well-maintained warehouse are air-conditioned to ensure the freshness and quality of the…
