Pet Network International (PNI), the Zagreb-based pet care retail group, has launched a new mobile app for its Pet Centar chain in Serbia. The group described the launch as part of its digital transformation, aimed at improving the customer experience and enabling more personalised interactions.

The app is built around the retailer's loyalty programme, the Pet Centar Club. Users can hold a digital loyalty card, collect and redeem points, activate discount coupons — including a welcome discount on registration — and receive personalised offers based on a profile they create for their pet. A store locator covers more than 30 Pet Centar outlets across Serbia, each of which includes an in-store veterinary pharmacy, and customers can browse the current digital catalogue. The app is available for iOS and Android.

The digital push comes alongside continued expansion of the store network: PNI recently opened its 35th Pet Centar store in Serbia, located in Belgrade's Vračar district near the Temple of Saint Sava.

PNI positions itself as the leading omnichannel pet care retailer in South-Eastern Europe, ranking number one in Croatia and Serbia (both under the Pet Centar brand), Romania (Animax, Maxi Pet), Slovenia (Mr. Pet) and Bulgaria (Dr. Stefanov, Maxi Pet), combining physical stores, online shops, grooming and veterinary services.
