Phillips Pet Food & Supplies, a leading distributor in the pet food and supplies sector, has announced a planned change in leadership, which has been prepared as part of the company’s long-term succession strategy. With effect from 27 July, Blaine Phillips has moved from the role of Chief Executive Officer to that of Executive Chairman, and Nick Christensen, formerly President, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer.
This change is the result of years of carefully considered succession planning by the company’s board and senior management team, aimed at ensuring continuity of strategy and corporate culture as Phillips enters its next phase of growth, the company explains.
