Carnilove opens its first UK travel agency

The first UK travel agency for pets has opened its doors in Chipping Norton: ʻPet Set Goʻ, founded by pet food manufacturer Carnilove, aims to provide inspiration and expert advice for the growing number of pet owners who want to go on holiday with their four-legged friends rather than leaving them at home.

A new study by Carnilove suggests that almost half of dog owners (46 %) and as many as 26 % of cat owners intend to take their pet on holiday with them this summer. More than half (54 %) choose to go on holiday with their animal companions simply because they enjoy their company, whilst 39 % are happier knowing they have given their pet a whole new experience. Half of pet owners (52 %) plan their trip around their pet’s needs, whilst 37 % of cat or dog owners consider their pet’s needs to be just as important as those of their children when planning a holiday.
