IQI appoints Alana Brown

IQI Trusted Petfood Ingredients has announced the appointment of Alana Brown as Sales Manager for North America: she joined IQI’s North American sales team in May, drawing on her experience in research and development, quality and production, and customer relations.

Brown brings a decade of experience in quality and research and development within the pet food industry. Most recently, she served as North American Customer Technical Insights Manager at AFB International. In this role, she worked closely with the sales team to meet the product-related and technical requirements of AFB’s key customers. She was responsible for developing a deep understanding of customer needs and delivering solutions that promoted both customer satisfaction and business growth.

Prior to her role at AFB, Brown worked as a research scientist at the Monsanto Company (now Bayer) and as an animal nutrition specialist at Crossmark. She also worked as a research scientist at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she obtained her degree in animal science.
