Pats 2026, taking place at the NEC in Birmingham from 27 to 29 September, promises to be the place to be this year, where retailers and buyers can discover the latest products from the pet and aquatics sectors.
The UK’s leading trade fair for the pet and aquatics sectors is set to be bigger than ever, with exhibitors from over 30 countries. More than 140 brands will be exhibiting for the first time, offering visitors access to an unrivalled selection of products, innovations and emerging trends. Thousands of items will be on display during the three-day event, with a record number of new product launches expected.
As one of the trade fair’s most popular attractions, the ‘New Product Showcase’ will attract a host of entries; here, exhibitors present their latest innovations in the hope of winning the prestigious ‘New Product Awards’. Products submitted for the ‘Showcase’ will be judged on the opening day of the fair – Sunday 27 September – by a panel of independent retailers and industry experts. The winners will be announced across various categories, with the spotlight falling on those products expected to have the greatest impact on the market.
The ‘New Starter Zone’ also remains a popular highlight: it offers a dedicated area for start-ups and companies that are less than three years old, and is the perfect place for visitors to discover up-and-coming brands.
According to the organisers, Pats 2025 recorded the highest visitor numbers in the fair’s history, thereby cementing its position as an unmissable industry event. Over the three days, 6,021 visitors attended, representing a 70 per cent increase on the previous year. The number of international visitors rose to 317, representing a 169 per cent increase on the previous year, whilst a record 445 exhibitors from 15 countries showcased the latest products, innovations and trends shaping the future of the pet and aquatics industry.
