JBT Marel and Aurum Process Technology are collaborating

JBT Marel from Illinois, USA, and Aurum Process Technology from Spain have entered into an exclusive partnership. The partnership integrates Aurum’s specialist expertise in aseptic processing and filling into flexible packaging into JBT Marel’s global portfolio, thereby expanding the range of end-to-end processing solutions for ready meals and premium wet pet food.

‘Global demand for high-quality, shelf-stable convenience products is on the rise – both in the ready-meal sector and in the premium pet food segment,’ explains Juan Martinez, global product line director at JBT Marel. Aurum CEO Arturo Cantero sees the partnership as an ideal complement: his company’s expertise in plant-based drinks, sauces, ready meals and pet food fits well with JBT Marel’s system integration capabilities.
