French pet food producer Normandise Pet Food has notably strengthened its presence in North America by acquiring Food4Pets Canada along with its affiliated U.S. business, according to a LinkedIn announcement. Through this acquisition, Normandise expands into canned pet food production, complementing its prior focus on pouch, tray, and brick formats, while also gaining established client connections and improved access to the market.

Based in Normandy, France, La Normandise is a manufacturer of private-label wet pet food. The company recorded revenues of 187 Mio. € in 2025 and anticipates surpassing 200 Mio. € this year, according to Alvaro de la Maza, partner at development advisory firm Aninver, and the industry website www.internationalpetfood.com.
