The UK pet supply retailer Jollyes has introduced Simply Jollyes, a low-priced own-label pet range. According to a press release, the new label offers essential pet food and accessories with no compromise on quality.

The new line has been launched, because a survey conducted by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) found that 81% of UK pet owners think it has become more expensive to look after their pets, with 38% changing their behaviour due to financial pressures.

Retired service dogs launch new store

On Friday 1st March, Jollyes opened their 120th store. The Whitehaven location was officially opened by Fergie, a retired explosive search dog, and Arya, a patrol dog. Both animals are in the care of the National Foundation for Retired Service Animals and were accompanied by Mayor Raymond Gill.
