Pet Flavours, one of the market-leading manufacturers of pharmaceutical flavourings and flavour enhancers for chewable medicines for pets, is embarking on an exciting new chapter in its history. With a newly formed management team, the company is set to move forward with a focus on innovation and customer service.
The company announced in a press release that Randolph Legg, former president and head of commercial business at Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health USA, has joined the board of directors. Legg joins Fabian Kausche, a long-time R&D manager and executive at Boehringer Ingelheim, Merial, Novartis Animal Health and Pfizer.
Pet Flavors continues to expand its capacity since Bessemer Investors acquired a majority stake at the end of 2021 and its founder stepped down in the summer of 2024, reports the Melbourne, Florida-based specialist. The company continues to focus on advancing palatability research and supporting formulators in the animal health sector as the only company that specialises exclusively in flavours for pharmaceutical and nutritional formulations for dogs, cats and horses.
