Timo Huwer takes a break, Erich Huwer returns as Globus CEO

Timo Huwer, spokesperson for the management board of Globus Baumarkt, is stepping back from operational business for an extended period of time for health reasons. Together with Timo Huwer, it has therefore been decided to ask his father Erich Huwer to rejoin the management of Globus Baumarkt with immediate effect and to take over the position of management spokesman on an interim basis, the company announced. He will manage Globus Baumarkt, many of whose stores have a pet department, together with Pia Frey and Gerald Neumayr. The aim of this decision is to ensure stability and continuity as well as the usual level of service for customers, the press release continues.

"Erich Huwer successfully managed Globus Baumärkte as management spokesman until 2019 and shaped the development of the company. After his departure, he continued to advise the division, most recently in the area of expansion.
