The 27th edition of the trade fair for the pet industry in the Asia-Pacific region will feature an expansion, greater international participation, and a wider variety of exhibitors. Taking place from 20 to 24 August in Shanghai, Pet Fair Asia will welcome over 2,600 exhibitors (compared to 2,500 in 2024) across a gross exhibition area of 310,000 m², which is already fully booked. The fastest growth is being recorded in the supply chain and small animal sectors, which together will occupy 10,000 m² more exhibition space than in 2024. According to the organisers of the trade fair, this growth reflects the ongoing strength and resilience of the Chinese and Asian pet industry, driven by increasing consumer demand, innovation, and evolving market segments.
