Pet South America is one of the leading trade fairs for the pet and veterinary industries in South America. Held every August at the Anhembi Exhibition Centre in São Paulo, it has been running since 2005. A distinctive feature of Pet South America is its comprehensive B2B concept, which brings together industry professionals from all sectors. These include veterinarians, animal clinic operators, pet shop owners, breeders, animal scientists, and wholesalers from Brazil and across Latin America. The trade fair showcases a diverse array of products and services, ranging from pet food and care products to hygiene solutions, toys, and accessories for pet owners. It also features specialised cat products and other services that cater to the practical needs of the pet market.

Particular focus is given to the veterinary sector in the 'Pet Vet Pavilion', which runs alongside the international congress. Over 35 hours of high-quality content and workshops cover new technologies, current trends, and management strategies for veterinarians and animal care professionals. The event also features industry-specific formats, such as the Pet Creche Summit for dog daycare operators, and the international grooming competition, 'Mastergroom', which brings together leading experts in animal aesthetics and care. Another unique feature is the strong focus on exports and internationalisation, enabling Brazilian exhibitors to develop business relationships in North and Latin America.
